Starving artists are hungry because they have bought into the outmoded idea that creating wealth is antithetical to creating art, or they just haven’t learned the techniques for creating wealth as an artist in the first place. However, those who educate themselves on wealth creation enjoy full bellies and fuller bank accounts, in spite of gallery closings and poor market conditions.

Creating wealth as an artist

Everyone knows the stereotype of the poor starving artist. For you, this can become an irrelevant notion of the past. As presented in my seminars, I have created a systematic, practical approach to creating a platform using the Internet to share your creative endeavours. Have you ever imagined writing a book, creating a series of CDs or DVDs, or even having a subscription-based newsletter on your website?

When a gallery closes, many artists have nowhere to turn. In my small town of Byron Bay Northern New South Wales alone, at least four local galleries have closed as a direct result of economic downtown. Many of the artists represented by these galleries were shocked and left scrambling for income. It is wise to have alternatives at the ready.
