Dr. John Dahlsen’s seminars are primarily for, but not limited to artists and for those wanting to have a successful career in the arts.
The Seminars run for a full one day period and are segmented into 3 parts.
He outlines in detail during these seminars:
* 1. How he began his journey into making environmental art. John begins the day with a lively and animated talk on environmental art with images of his own work spanning 30 years and elaborates on the trans-formative possibilities he shows by example in his work. The first part of the seminar is delivered with both Power Point and DVD presentations and involve the introduction about himself and some basics about his history as an artist. Following this is a discussion about the importance of art and ecological awareness bringing about positive perceptual shifts. This leads into a PowerPoint presentation, where he projects various powerful art images, which can amount to anywhere between 50 to 100 images, followed by a question and answer discussion. During image projections, John focus’s on the visuals of around eight main aspects of this environmental artwork. He encourages audience participation in the form of question and answers in all of his seminars.
* 2. How it has led to his also making CD’s, DVD’s, books and e-Books, as well as conducting seminars about the above topic, which he has specialized in for the past 15 years. Includes in this part simple steps for artists to make multi-pillared streams of income. A significant part of John’s seminar in part 2 is devoted to ways artists can respond positively to today’s economic crisis with wealth creation strategies.
* 3. The third part of each seminar also includes a comprehensive complete section on commonly asked questions and questions to and answers from the artist.’
